The practical bits — shipping, sizing, production, sustainability, and other helpful information about Glisk & Co.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who are Glisk & Co.?
Who are Glisk & Co.?
Glisk & Co. is an independent apparel brand created in Western Australia by a late-diagnosed neurodivergent mum who spent a long time feeling slightly out of step with the world.
The name “Glisk” comes from an old Scots word meaning:
“a glimpse of light.”
That meaning became the foundation of the brand.
Glisk & Co. was created from the idea that even small things — comfort, humour, softness, honesty, feeling understood, wearing something that feels emotionally safe — can matter deeply in everyday life.
This brand was built for:
-
neurodivergent minds
-
overstimulated humans
-
exhausted mums
-
soft rebels
-
anxious overthinkers
-
beautifully different brains
-
and people who have never felt like they fit neatly into the mould
The designs are inspired by real life:
-
overstimulation
-
masking
-
emotional exhaustion
-
humour as survival
-
comfort as regulation
-
identity
-
softness
-
and finding small moments of light in hard or overwhelming days
Glisk & Co. is not fast fashion, trend chasing, or mass-produced motivational merchandise.
It is a small, intentionally growing brand focused on:
-
quality over quantity
-
emotionally intelligent design
-
thoughtful production
-
honesty over perfection
-
and creating pieces people genuinely connect with and keep long term
At launch, Glisk & Co. operates using print-on-demand production through Printful and primarily uses premium AS Colour garments to prioritise comfort, consistency, and durability.
This slower approach allows the brand to grow sustainably and intentionally without producing unnecessary excess stock.
Everything is still very small, very human, and very much a work in progress — and that is part of the point.
Glisk & Co. exists to create small threads of light for everyday life.
Why Print-On-Demand (POD)?
Why Print On Demand?
Glisk & Co. uses print-on-demand production to reduce unnecessary waste and avoid mass overproduction.
Instead of producing large amounts of stock upfront, each item is created after an order is placed.
This allows us to:
- grow thoughtfully as a small independent brand
- focus on quality over quantity
- reduce excess inventory ending up in landfill
- release designs slowly and intentionally
We currently work with Printful and use premium AS Colour garments because quality, comfort, and consistency matter to us more than being the cheapest option online.
Print-on-demand also gives Glisk & Co. the flexibility to create smaller, more meaningful collections while we continue building the brand carefully and sustainably.
Sustainability
Glisk & Co. aims to make more thoughtful and lower-waste choices wherever realistically possible.
By using print-on-demand production, items are only created after they are ordered rather than mass-produced in large quantities. This helps reduce unnecessary overproduction and excess inventory waste.
We also prioritise:
- quality garments designed to last longer
- slower, more intentional collections
- durable printing methods
- thoughtful production over fast fashion trends
At launch, Glisk & Co. works primarily with Printful and premium AS Colour garments because comfort, consistency, and quality matter to us.
No fashion business is completely impact-free, including ours. Rather than making exaggerated sustainability claims, we believe in transparency, continual improvement, and creating products people genuinely keep and wear long term.
Quality & AS Colour
Why does Glisk & Co. use AS Colour garments?
Quality matters to us.
Glisk & Co. primarily uses premium AS Colour garments because they are known for:
- comfort
- durability
- consistent fit
- heavier quality fabrics
- long-term wearability
We want our pieces to feel good to wear repeatedly, not disposable after a few washes.
As a small independent brand, we would rather produce fewer high-quality garments than chase fast-fashion pricing at the expense of comfort and longevity.
AS Colour also publicly outlines its ethical sourcing and manufacturing standards, which aligns with Glisk & Co.’s focus on thoughtful and intentional production.
Shipping
Where does my order ship from?
Glisk & Co. products are fulfilled through our print partner, Printful.
Depending on product availability, garment type, size, and stock levels, orders may ship from Australia or other regional fulfilment partners used by Printful.
At launch, Glisk & Co. is shipping within Australia only while we carefully build and refine our systems.
Why can shipping take a little longer?
Glisk & Co. uses print-on-demand production, which means your item is created after your order is placed rather than sitting in a warehouse.
This helps reduce overproduction and unnecessary waste, but it also means production time is required before shipping begins.
Typical production time is:
2–5 business days
Shipping time is then added on top depending on your location.
We would rather provide realistic expectations than overpromise fast shipping.
Estimated Australian Shipping Times
Estimated delivery times after fulfilment:
| Location | Estimated Delivery Time |
|---|---|
| Perth | 5–12 business days |
| Melbourne | 3–8 business days |
| Sydney | 3–8 business days |
| Brisbane | 4–9 business days |
| Adelaide | 4–9 business days |
| Regional Areas | 5–14 business days |
Please note these are estimates only and may vary during busy periods, public holidays, or carrier delays.
Why did my order arrive in separate packages?
Some products may ship separately if they are fulfilled from different locations.
This can happen when:
- different garment colours or sizes are stocked in different facilities
- one product is available locally while another is not
- inventory is routed through multiple fulfilment centres
Can I track my order?
Yes.
Once your order has been fulfilled and shipped, you will receive tracking information via email.
Do you offer international shipping?
Not yet.
Glisk & Co. is currently launching within Australia first while we establish reliable systems and maintain quality control.
International shipping is planned for the future as the brand grows thoughtfully and sustainably.
Why doesn’t Glisk & Co. offer express shipping?
As a small independent print-on-demand brand, our focus is currently on:
- quality
- thoughtful production
- reliable fulfilment
- reducing unnecessary waste
Because items are made to order, express shipping options are limited at this stage.
What happens if my order is delayed?
Occasionally delays can happen due to:
- production demand
- shipping carrier delays
- public holidays
- severe weather
- stock availability
If your order experiences a significant delay, please contact us and we will help however we can.

Sizing
Most Glisk & Co. garments use relaxed unisex sizing designed for everyday comfort and wearability.
We primarily use AS Colour garments, so sizing is generally consistent across products, however measurements may vary slightly depending on the garment style.
Please check the individual size guide listed on each product page before ordering.
If you are between sizes:
- choose your usual size for a regular fit
- size up for a more oversized relaxed fit
For the most accurate fit, we recommend comparing the measurements provided against a favourite tee or hoodie you already own.
Returns & Exchanges
Because Glisk & Co. products are made to order through print-on-demand production, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing selection, or ordering mistakes.
However, if your item arrives:
- damaged
- faulty
- incorrect
- or has a printing issue

Garment Care
To help your Glisk & Co. pieces last as long as possible, we recommend treating them gently and following the care instructions below.
Our garments are printed using direct-to-garment (DTG) printing on premium AS Colour apparel, and proper care helps preserve both the fabric and artwork over time.
Washing Instructions
For best results:
- wash inside out
- cold gentle machine wash
- wash with similar colours
- use mild detergent
- avoid harsh bleach or strong stain removers
Drying Instructions
We recommend:
- line drying in the shade where possible
- avoiding high heat tumble drying
Excessive heat can shorten the lifespan of printed designs and may cause shrinkage over time.
Ironing
If ironing is needed:
- iron inside out
- avoid ironing directly over printed areas
Will the print fade?
Some natural softening and fading may occur gradually over time with regular wear and washing, which is normal for printed garments.
Following the recommended care instructions will help maintain print quality and garment longevity.
Why does proper garment care matter?
Glisk & Co. prioritises quality and thoughtful production over fast fashion.
Taking good care of your garments helps:
- extend the life of the product
- reduce unnecessary waste
- support slower, more intentional consumption
We believe well-loved clothing should stay in rotation for a long time.
